Trail Tech Rotor Magnet Ring Cracks

2011 450 SX-F. Removed ignition case to solve small oil leak. Discovered a cracked Trail Tech rotor magnet ring. Trail Tech advises that this is OK. Anyone else have this experience?

If i was the original purchaser I would pitch a bitch and get them to show good customer service and get a new one.

+2 on that, if its cracked its broken they should have some kinda warranty
