yz or wr seat

I want to order a taller seat for my '99 wr 400 with ims 4 gal. tank,some compagnies don't list the wr 400 but they do list the yz...are they the same

No, they are not the same. But it will fit. The WR has a poor seat to tank relationship, whereas the YZ does not. Most prefer the YZ set-up. How does your WR seat fit the IMS tank? Hope this helps. Maniac
