are you sure its ported? Usually the ports are polished to an almost mirror like shine.

from what ive read, it isnt necessary to polish a 2 stroke, its only a minor porting job all the edges are rounded and smoothed on the ports and the boost ports are huge

It has Boyesen ports. As far as I can remember Honda never used them. But I've been wrong before.

if they were there stock then they have been enlarged by a previous owner i can see where they have been bored out

I wasn't told it was ported, i discovered this myself btw. i was told it was a crazy bike with more power than the average 125 when it was running, and that it had to have been bored by the person who owned it before him.

What is a boyesen port? Do you mean Boyesen reeds? I had a 84 rm125 ported by MIdwest Action Cycle, and the exhaust port was polished to almost a mirror like finish. Crazy fast (would hang with a 250), but would eat rings faster than anything I ever heard of

a boyesen port or boost port is a passage drilled from the transfer ports to the intake by the reeds it increases low end torque and it is not necessary to polish the ports unless you are going all out with it and this was not professionally done it looks like a really good but mild dremel job
