This will be interesting. I am planning on keeping the computer. Just waiting for the plate to  arrive so I can see how much of a project I have ahead of me. Yours looks so nice but like I said, I want to keep the computer. Do you know anyone who did this and how?

...I haven't seen a number plate installed with the computer on a WR. I think you might find that it's a really tight fit as the computer is pretty big but I'm not up on your number plate. Good luck and keep us posted on the project!

Front plate came today and is a YZ plate. Looks like it won't mount nice without removing computer. Any one have pics or advice on how to mount front plate with computer on???

Got it done but not very happy with the side profile. Sticks out a lot more with the computer than I thought. Will start working on some other way to mount the computer. Will try and work on it this week before heading to St. Louis for my annual Daddy/Daughter Supercross race. Also hoping to get rims and hubs back from powder coat this week also. Will let you know how it turns out.

Well it has taken a long time now but I finally finished. I gave up on leaving the computer on and with the help of pdivizzle pointing me in the correct direction. He went above and beyond and gave me links to the parts I needed. Gotta love this forum!! So I picked up a 06 YZF triple clamp but only used the top clamp. I then removed the headlight and computer and just unplugged and taped ends with electrical tape. I zip tied some lines together to clean them up and suspend them behind the new 06 YZF # plate. I then picked up the front wheel spacer from flatland racing so I could remove the long cable and odometer spacer. As far as the ignition switch, I cut and ground the original bracket, painted it black and mounted it to the bolt on the top clamp where the # plate attaches. I also removed the rear light. I love the new look and it is real clean. Posted Image

PM nokickstandsallowed. He installed his computer (aftermarket) in the bar pad. It looks pretty slick. He has a thread about it with pics.
