Anybod have an info on Rock Run and Rocket Raceway. I am thinking about taking a trip out on a long weekend of riding in either April or May.  I would be travelling from New Jersey.  I would like to hit Rocket Raceway on the way out but not sure if they are open fridays and also is the track suited for a less advanced rider.  Does anybody have any info on the riding at Rock Run as well?

I talked to them earlier in the week and they are open for the season.  If you want to practice during the week you have to call them a day in advance to see if the track will be available. On non-race days they operate from 10am till dark.  You can not ride alone, especially on the hare scramble course.  They won't specifically groom the track for one person but if you get a group together they will accommodate your party.

When ever it warms up, we're gonna hit them up a few times during the week, when its nice and quiet, no one needs to watch me wreck :smirk:

Not my video, but a glimpse of the MX track.

Rock Run is pretty good to hit up http://rockrunrecreation.com they re open first week in April, not sure what you ride but It gets its name rock run for a reason...Ive only riden there on my yfz450r, pretty much just trails, found no serious hillclimbs or anything along those lines, I live very close and have been there only once due to the amount of trails and hillclimbs on public land already in this area
