Has any one put a 12" front wheel/tire combo on their TTR-50? If so did it improve the handling? Trying to buy some time with my son on the 50 as he is still to small for a bigger bike, but can ride the heck out of his 50.

How many spokes? I bet I've got a rear rim and spokes that would lace up to the 50's hub from a PW80. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the whole wheel would swap, at least by my limited parts research.
Although I personally would recommend buying a whole PW80 (not from me), put a washer in the exhaust, reduce the shock pre load, cut the seat (parts are super cheap!) and send him on his way.
