I found a very easy and safe way to remove the electrical connector when installing the JP tuner. I used a locking clamp from harbor freight, most people call them forceps. I was able to come in through the top squeeze down on the connector and pull it right out using the body of the connector and not the wires.

Now plugging the new connector into the inlet body was a bit more of a challange but it was easier then removing the original.

The install is pretty straight forward and programming couldn't be easier, and after I get the FMF exhaust installed tommorow this thing should run pretty darn strong.

Sounds good, thanks for the tip. Ya think that would apply to the JD Tuner install as well ? Nah....just bustin' your chops. I'm curious to know how much of a
difference you noticed power-wise from just the tuner. With mine I got the FMF muffler before I got the FI Tuner and I was pretty impressed with the extra grunt from
just the pipe. Also sounds way better too. Then when I got the Tuner......  :bonk: :bonk: :smirk:  :ride:

Joe:

Got the tuner installed along with the exhaust and it's not the same bike, talk about coming out of it's shell. Only got to do a couple hot laps out in the farmers acreage but I can tell you that it's much better then I could have hoped. I was a bit concerned when I first got it because my RXV would run circles around it, now I'll have to get them both out and do a side by side comparison. They are surely different bikes but with kind of the same purpose so looking forward to the field test.

Oh and on a side not, I really enjoyed your "You-Tube" video's and looking forward to see some more from ya!! I'll try and get something posted in a couple weeks when I get a chance to get them out of the barn.
