06 DRZ400 Not starting.....Relay problem?

All,

Please advise on this. My DRZ400s to SM conversion will not start. When I push the push start button I do not hear a sound or anything. Battery is charged. When I jump the relay in the back between the two terminals with a screwdriver ...the bike starts right up. Is if safe to assume my relay is dead? Thanks in Advance!

Could be several things.Clutch safety switch, kick stand safety switch, & ignition button would be prime suspects. If when you press the starter button you are not getting juice to the relay then it's not the relay and most likely one of the safetys.

(My 2 cents worth on the subject anyway... Good luck)

Edit: Ignition switch is on, right?
