I have an idea, but I need to know what is the most common crank installation tool out there for the money.

Please post (by manufacture) which crank installer you use or that you find is the most common

What manufacturer's crank installation tool to you use?

I bought an entire tool case from a retired Yamaha mechanic, and in the tool case I got a crank puller with a pile of different ends, it's very similar to the one I've attached, although higher quality and more versatile.

You slide the crank roughly into place until it is lined up with the bearing.
I put some wood down where the other end of the crankshaft comes through to protect the cases.
I thread on one of the end caps onto the end of crank.
I put the large piece over the end cap, and screw in a handle to keep it from spinning in the tool.
I thread in the threaded rod through the tool into the other end of the end cap.
I tighten the nut on the end until it pulls the crank flush into place.

Nothing to it really. Works great to pull the crank into the cases.
