That's too awesome! I've often secretly fantisized about putting slicks on my CRF and giving that a try. I so wanted to get into his pavement racing stuff years ago, but hubby said it was too dangerous, so he bought me a dirt bike instead. HAHA, little did he know...

Where's the video??? Gotta see it :bonk:

Well here are 2 of the vids so far

1st session (yes a brisk 38 degrees and taking it easy)

ALL RIGHTY, let's try this again with out any alcohol hehe.

Yep I once again woke up way early (4:30) on Sunday knowing what was going to happen and what still needed to be done before I headed out. So while I was waiting for the time to come to depart for Brian's house to pick up my bike and gear I did dishes, my taxes and other simple stuff when I realized , WOW I got up early when I don't need to leave until 7 lol.

So I hop on over to the store and buy a couple 12 packs of Negra Modelos, water, ice and a few Vitamin waters and load all that in the ice chest then romp on over to Brian's and load up my bike, gear, easy up and other related pit stuff and head on over to the track. Well while driving over I realize OMG it's cold out. It's a boiling 38 degrees out brrrrrr. I know this is going to be ahhhh SKETCHY

As I am coming down the entrance I see a bunch of trucks, cars, and rigs setting up and I was like Uh Oh, I hope I can get my fav pit stall (with electricity for the tire warmers) and low and behold, one of the guys I know and race with has taken up 2 spots so as to save me one (such a sweety) YaaaaY!

I get mt the truck backed in and go to step out and all most fall on my rear as the ground was still frozen all around the pit . So I am now thinking ahhhhhhhhhh this is really going to be sketchy out there. SO I get all unloaded and set up and grab my purse to go pay when OMG... here comes some of the super fast guys YaaaaY! and Ryan (the guy who built and sold me my bike)YaaaaY!
So I walk on into the office to pay my 50 bucks when i realize uh oh.. I didn't renew my race license so the went 200 bucks for that plus the practice fee's. Yes turning into a $$$ kinda day huh LOL. So I get it all paid and get my new license and yes get to keep my same race number (thank god I just had graphics made with that number) YaaaaY! and I get to keep it as it is locked in YaaaaaY!

So I stroll on out to the pits and wander around saying high to everyone when we all hear "10 mins until SuperMoto is up" and I said to one of the guys "got's to go get dressed" and all 6 of them say "OMG.... now we know how to shut up a woman"

So I get all geared up bike is warming up, tires are warm and off I go for my first session. While rolling up to the entrance I decided to take this first session mellow and slow as the track might not have the grip and well I don't want to crash today.
So I get out there and just kinda putts around for 5 or so laps and pull off and figured I will wait until the next session as the shifter Karts and some rental Karts will help warm up the track (smart huh :ride:) So as I am relaxing and chatting here comes some guy friends of mine to come watch the fun and one actually listened to me and brought this gear so he could give this a shot and yes on my bike

So the next session is called and off I go and figured I will turn it up and get in some good laps as the track has to be warmer by now which it was YaaaaY! So while rippin around in Session 2 I realize WOW I'm catching people so now it's time to practice some passing moves and let the bike slide more (yes backing it in) and wow, what fun that was, And yes girls I stayed off the pretty ground hehe.

So the next session is called and I tell Bruce... go for it, go have some fun. I then went over some things on the bike and what he needed to do on the track (don't move over out of the way, hold your line as the fast people will already know their move) As he and I are talking OMG..... who is this pulling up? It's our very own PP (PlushPuppy) yes Celeste came down to hang out and give this a try as well YaaaaaY! Yes i talked her into it  So Brucey heads out and Celeste and I go over to the fence to watch, chat and get pics/video. Well while we were leaning against the fence I hear this motor rev up then a scream then SLAM, the fence gets hammered hard, well I was videoing I thought someone from the track had slammed into the fence as hard as it was hit and well it wasn't. When I look over I see people running, a bike standing at an angle against the fence and a body in red leathers stuck under the bike and in between a Kart and the fence so I run over and OMG... it's Marks new girlfriend and she is "OUT".
So she comes to and is saying she is fine but stuck so the guys lifter the bike, Kart and her up off the ground while the whole time holding her neck for the just in case. Turns out she was fine and the throttle on her CRF150R got stuck WTFO and blam she went. But she was fine and went out on the track in the Novice/kid session as PGP had to do this as there were a ton of fast peopl and a ton of slow people out there which was dangerous for the slower riders and us as well.

So now that all of that was over I go out for my third session and yep, step it up some more and still was having that front end chatter while cornering hard which is yes SCARY and FREAKY cause you can't hold the line you want nor stay on the throttle hard as the front was pushing bad so I backed it back down some but still having that issue. So after about 10 laps I pull in to relax and let Celeste head on out. Well while we were getting Celeste all paid and stuff Ryan (the guy I got the bike from)comes on over and asked how the bike was doing so I explained to him the issues I am having now and he simply looks at me and says "well you know you are riding way over the stock suspension now as the suspension can't handle the speeds you are running now" I was like OH REALLY :bonk: So he says he has a rear spring for me and walks off and returns with this look... and says well, bring the shock over my house as well I forgot it. Really I say, why would you bring that spring on a practice day? he simply says that he and Brain have been talking about my bikes front end issues and they came up with I needed a rear spring and he was going to slap it on that day . So I will bring the shock to his place next weekend hehe but first need to install the new graphics hehe.

So we get Celeste going and WOW, she looks like she is having a blast  and when she pulls in there it is.... that grin from ear to ear hehe. While she is getting off the bike she says "that's just so weird, where's the trees, rocks, sand or dirt". So I asked her if she was going to go out again and of course she said YES before I could finish asking

OK...... it's coming time for me to go out again as they just announced 5 mins until Supermoto expert so while I am getting my stuff back on I looked at everyone and said this is my last session for the day and the bike is for you to play on when I get done.
I swear I will never say my last ride, session, jump or even wheelie as every dang time I do bad things happen Geeez when will I learn ?

So I get out there and notice Ron(one of the fast guys)is waiting for me over in Turn 3 so I slow down thinking at first something was wrong when he waves me on so off I go. While going into Turn 4 there he is, so now I see what he is doing... wants to pass me HAHA no way hehe. So he and I battle for 5 or so laps which pushed us up to a slower group and WOW talk about trying to find a line when you are sliding sideways coming into a turn  We got through most of them when he passed me on the front straight as I had to take the slower line out of Turn 16 grrrr. But that's OK.. it's only practice . So I push myself to catch up and keep up for a couple laps when ahhhhhh I got this drive out of Turn 16 that I have never gottne before and WOW.... I am flying and into 6th gear I go, Well what's at the end on the front straight? yes you got it, a 180 degree turn and I am coming in way hot, so I chop the throttle, grab some front brake, pull in the clutch, bang down 2 gears (should have been at least 3)and dump the clutch (yes you do all of this at once and tip inthe bike too) when out goes the rear and I am sliding into the turn way way to fast and all I could think " this is going to hurt a ton) as there are barriers and a chain link fence at that end  well I straighten the bike up really quick and off into the gravel, grass and mud and aimed for the left side of the fence and barriers as the is a giant mud section and that will be soft if I miss the fence. well once I hit the gravel I bumped down 2 gears real quick and just rode it out OMG.... I made it.. I didn't go down or hit anything and sitting right there was Kyle(one of the track workers) yelling hell yeah you kickass  and comes over and high fives me. So I sat there for a minute to let the other bikes go by as I am now sitting at the entrance of turn 3 (but really needing to ahhhhhh calm down hehe) and as they all pass I look at my tires and they are well solid mud lol so I pull onto the track as far of the race line as possible and just cruised around turn 3 and back to the pits.
When I pull up into the pit I had this huge grin from ear to ear as well I just survived and can't wait to get back out there again sooooon.

So yes, Bruce and Celeste played while I took pics and video all the while drinking those Negra Modelos hehe....

So that was my Sunday Sunday Sunday.

Until next time hehe stay on 2 wheels :smirk:

Well I am going to have to start following your thread. It looks like a blast. Maybe the boys and I will stop on up one of these weekends while you are riding. Makes me a little sad as I just recently got rid of my 08 450 EXC-R. She was a beautiful girl but we just did not get along. I have moved on to a new girl in my life and we seem to be meshing great. It seems that blue is my color.

Hope to stop on by and have a beer with you anyways one of these days.

Great stuff!
