Hi, I checked out a bike today that is a good deal and I'm going to buy it tomorrow. I'll first describe it, then give a little background, and finally ask your advice on what I should do in terms of oil changes and other preventative maintenance.

The bike is a 150cc no-name brand with a semi auto. It's in nice running shape with no back brake linkage being it's only problem which matters little to me. The engine runs good, shifts good, and they did oil changes every couple months on it. It's $350 which for connecticut is damn good. I am confident with my sales skills I'll get $500 out of it when I decide to sell.

Now on to me, I have part owned a chinabike with a friend and he's owned one other one, but that was a while ago, we bought the bikes cheap, rode em very little, and sold them for a good profit. In this case I'd like to keep it for most of the summer to enjoy with my friend. I have mechanical ability for the most part. I've done oil changes, brake work (rotors, pads, calipers, bleeding), and a PCV job on my car so I am honing my mechanic skills.

Basically what I'd like to know is:
-What type of oil to put in, does this bike have a shared engine/trans oil? If so do I need motorbike oil for it?
-How often to change oil
-Should I take bolts off and loctite them like people do with new bikes? Which ones? How likely are the bolts to back out?
-The chain fell off on the test ride, he put it back on but what is the proper procedure for tightening it so it will not fall off again?
-Finally what else is needed for preventative maintenance on a good running chinabike?

Thanks a bunch, looking forward to hearing from you guys!

Forgot to mention it also has a KTM swingarm, red baron handlebars, and some kind of nice exhaust.
