I'm having some trouble getting my stock needle out. I've got a new needle w/ adjustable positions I'm trying to install. Anybody have a trick to removing the stock needle w/ garage tools? The help would be appricated! :bonk: Theres just no room to work once the top of the carb is off. I removed the little lid w/ the 2 allen bolts...

Open throttle, remove the socket head cap screw that holds needle in place, use small needle nose pliers or small piece of tubing (vaccum or R/C fuel tubing ) to remove needle. Just slip the snug fitting tubing over the needle to slide it out.

what papa said ^ Bike was supplied with a needle tool (if your dealer didn't keep it). it can also helps if you loosen and twist the carb a tad. Some good ball end allen wrenchs are nice too.
