LBJ has had some great reviews over the years.........we could either race it or just ride it to ride it......what say ye Wankers?

I'll consider it.

Hey Scott,   if you have a battery tender cable on your 'Berg under the seat, it will cause it to pop off.  I had this issue until I relocated it to come out down below.  It is zip tied to my clutch line.

Definitely get the NAPA switch.  The fan run more and it will roast your leg if you sit too much but my bike never went over 215F the whole trip.  Of course I ride way slower than you.  Wait.  That would make it run hotter  - LOL

I figured the seat problem out from a post you were in on Husaberg.org. The seat pan is plastic and if you miss the middle tabs it will flatten out in the heat and make it almost impossible to get them hooked back up. All it took was to take the seat off and sinch a strap around the middle of the seat and set it in the sun for a bit. That returned the seat pan to it's orginal shape and now it slide on and stay on just fine.

Hey Wankers,

Just thought I would share one of my favorite Colorado videos with ya.  Come out out, ride in the clouds and risk death on rocky sidehill trails like this one.  After it gets about 1 minute in, falling to the left, well that would be a bad idea...

Wow, and I thought Trail 81 in Tennessee was risky because of the drop-off.

OK...I'm assuming you're talking a fly-n-rent?

Alrighty then, I can quit drinking and save, quit eating and save, hitchhike to work and save, ignore the kids asking for handouts,
Hmmmm....after several months deep into 2013, I may have enough.

We may have a better option. It may be possible for one of us to drive a truck out there with 6-8 bikes on it. We all would chip in for gas and for his trouble and then fly out and ride our own bikes. Possibly....

Damn!    That's another poolside beer induced declaration I forgot!!!

I now remember Steve saying how he would cheefully drive a large buckboard Penske truck, yup, forgot that one.

So...now we save for Steve's diesel-lodging-thanks for driving fund.  Saving........starts, NOW!

Sorry Girls I don't want to ride with ya anymore....

Not!
Count my handsome 62 year old ass in....make that 63 year old ass....I got the Trailer for 8 bikes....maybe the Van as well.
Now we just need a Dumbass to drive it. We could always chip in & hire someone for the driving part....

  • sfront

Posted 09 July 2012 - 05:13 PM

That's MR. Dumbass to you Grandpa!
No, seriously.......I'll drive it.
Might take 3-4 days each way if I do it solo, but what the hell......
I can eat and drink like Godzilla when its free.........
(Oh, and I prefer Hampton Inns...........the handicapped accessible rooms are the best!)

I was giving Steve a chance to back out but since he has now said it 3 times, I believe he is serious.

Around Jan 1213 we need to start a new thread "Rocky Mountain High Wankers". I should have named this thread "There's Wankers in them there hills".
