I might do the FTR Samsula Enduro in May just to abuse myself in the heat. I have rode that property in the summer heat and in the tight single track it gets hot. Should be a good test of conditioning for me.

Africa, how accessible are the trails at Sequatchie? I'm thinking maybe two days in Winchester and a day in Sequatchie? Just thinking out loud.

I have a friend that guides quite a few dual sport rides around Sequatchie. I'll bet he would be happy to hook you guys up if you decide to ride there over the weekend while you're here.

We'll already be in western NC, so it won't be too long of a drive for us.
I'll drop you a PM Mr Smooth.

Ya'll come on up and ride the mountain. I don't ride there all the time but can tell you there's a TON of great woods riding there. It is pretty much all singletrack. Everything from fast flow to gnarly, rock legde hill climbs that are 200?? yards long. Def not an easy recreational ride. It has some of the Mid-South's most advanced woods riding. Big bore thumpers make sure you have a cooling fan and bring yo pain pills.........you gunna need'em........heh..heh...heh

Hey Africa.......when we doing "must have balls" again?

No TAG!!
There are hotels in Winchester about 10min away. There is dry camping at the site. There is also a horse campground at the site with power and water for a fee but you must trailer your bikes in and out.
