2010 xcw clutch lever

Trying to put a new lever on and cannot figuer out how to get the adjuster off the old its a bremco. Someone at my local shop thought it was pressed together. just dont want to break it thanks for any help

Did you buy the KTM factory replacement, if so it should have all parts attached, that's why they cost so much. I actually had to replace mine recently and just bought the flex lever as it uses fewer pieces and is pretty much unbreakable, plus it's only 3-4$ more than the stock one.

FYI, I bought mine at my local dealer and just talked him down to $50 rather than the $58 asking price. The OEM lever is $47 which is just plain retarded.........

Looks like these don't come with the adjustable plunger that goes into the master cylinder?

Can the plunger assembly be purchased seperately?

On the Brembo unit the plunger is part of the MC and the adjuster knob is on the lever, but that is eliminated with the flex lever, as is the stupid little stud thing and return spring on the backside. It's really a trick setup...

An alternative replacement lever is the easy pull lever from http://www.midwestme.com. These are well made and really work as advertised.

ok got the new lever on the adjuster was pressed on. but now dont know if the little black rod goes up aginst the lever or the cylinder. It flew out whrn takeing the stock one off.

Smoothly radiused end of adjuster fits into master cylinder. Don't forget the return spring.
