You'll want some more packing that that.  The muffler needs to be packed solid.

Sounds really good, all I did was start it on the stand though. It will sound even better once I wind it out under load! Doesnt sound choked up with the shorty like it did with the sparky. It barks like a 250 should, very throaty

Ive been packing silencers this way for years, wrap the core and then stuff around it through the end cap with the base installed. What you see in the pic is not all the packing I used. Helps make sure that I dont pack too tight.

So one small hickup... I swapped out the brake line and used new crush washers and banjo bolts. Any ideas why I cant get this brake to build any pressure? Worked perfect before the line swap.

Ive pumped and bled for hours.
Ive gravity bled the system for about 6 hrs. and I still cant get pressure to build. Im not leaking anywhere, and Im getting fluid from the bleed valve, just cant get any pressure. Anyone have any ideas or tricks?

Try tapping on the caliper with a screwdriver handle or small plastic hammer. It seems to help knock any air bubbles loose in there.

Thanks Ill keep that in mind next time... I just pushed the piston all the way in and it built pressure immediately. Thanks again for the tip though.

Nice avatar by the way
