Got the rear laced up but didnt realize that the inside spokes were longer than the outside spokes and Im 2 short spokes short on the outside so I cant get the nipples tight on the 2 that are too long. Just gonna go ahead and break down and buy a set of rears.

Anyways, here are a few pics of the rear laced up, missing one spoke though.

Wheels look great. I always wanted to do red hubs and nipples with black spokes and wheels. Or like half the spokes red with a black nipple and the other half black with red nipples and have them crossing but I never did. thought that would be cool.

Well I tried to true my wheels, spent 6 hours on them but they are worse now then they were when I started. So I[font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] talked to my buddy who is the head mechainic at a local dealer. He said he would true my wheels for me for $40 if I brought them in to the shop, $50 to mount tires. Sounds like a deal to me. $50 to true wheels and mount tires? Cant beat that! He said if I give them to him so he can take them in tomm. (since I work) he will have them back to me by wed. night

Just spoke to Bob at FCR, he will be hooking the suspension up for me this season as soon as I get my income tax return. He even got me in on their rider support program for 2012... a little late but how cool of him to offer since I didnt even apply? He will be getting a lot of buisness from me in the very near future. Super cool guy to work with!

A little more progress... Got the tires on the rims with new tubes, rim locks, and bands then mounted them up to make sure everything was good to go and to bleed the brakes. Fresh Honda pads installed up front and stock in the back and fresh fluid and brakes bled, now I gotta take the front tire back off so I can take the forks off to be revalved. Hoping my JD kit and reed petals show up tomm.

Wow, that's nice! I'm just about to get my hubs, and frame powdercoated. The rims will either be powder coated or anodized depending on what the guys says will work best. I was considering getting the spoke nipples done, but I was afraid I'd mess them up when installing. Did they want to chip or scratch while you were working with them?

Yea the spoke nipples look like shit already. They chipped really bad, Probably would have been alright if I didnt have to lace and unlace the wheel so many times. Cant really tell unless your looking for it though, so its fine with me. I cant see it from over 5-10 feet away.

Thanks man, cant wait to get some new graphics for it... I think it will look even better! Should look pretty damn good! Income tax cant come soon enough so I can get this thing finished!

Gotta bust into the savings to pay for the forks to get done because I dont wanna wait around till riding season when buisness picks up and I have to wait to get them done. Still gotta find a shorty too, been looking around on ebay to save some money but I cant find any used on there so Im gonna have to bite the bullet before the season starts.

Thanks guys... got the CS seal today so Ill be able to install and fill with oil, and just ordered my shift lever and clutch/brake set. I should be able to fire this thing up by the end of the night and do some heat cycles so I can get jetting dialed since I have no work for a few days.

So one small hickup... I swapped out the brake line and used new crush washers and banjo bolts. Any ideas why I cant get this brake to build any pressure? Worked perfect before the line swap.

Ive pumped and bled for hours.
Ive gravity bled the system for about 6 hrs. and I still cant get pressure to build. Im not leaking anywhere, and Im getting fluid from the bleed valve, just cant get any pressure. Anyone have any ideas or tricks?

Shift lever showed up today... went with a +1 shift lever from outlaw. Never used a longer shift lever so we will see how it goes. Its only about a 1/2-1 inch longer than stock length. Appears to be a very high quality product. Gonna go throw it on the bike now.

Here you can see that it is slightly longer than the lever I used last season.

Also got the red CRF line installed on the bike.
