Rediculous eh, $8500 for a bike that was made in 06! What would keep you off a KTM? I had a 08 YZ 250 also, was my absolute favorite till I got my 2012 KTM. Funny thing is I saw my 08 YZ for sale again and was actually thinking of buying it back.
Thats why i am keeping mine in the shed , For me its a special bike that causes a great deal of pleasure .

Mind you i have never had a new bike..........Nearly have Just not yet

Regards dazza

I am just updating my work, I have had only one ride. I got my suspention set up by Pro-Action (Rees) here in Delaware. He did a great job and I am very happy with what he did. I put the Fastway pegs on the bike and i am very happy on the wideness and grip, the fitment was very easy. I also regreased the bike with BelRay grease before the first ride, the local shop actualy did a great job. Put on the bark busters, I think they are too tight on the brake booster but has some room. For some added protecting I added the Scorpion HD skid plate, it is very well built and worth every penny. Scorpion Racing even called to be sure I got it and if I had any questions, that is great service. I am very happy with the my new YZ, just need to get in shape and loose the arm pump :)

Looks great! Fastways are one mod I can't live without now, love those things! I wish I had a 2012 YZ. I'm dealing with stripped bolt heads, snapping bolts, cracked cable housing, etc, etc. on my 2005. Does that thing idle? heh. I've put the JD kit in, plus the 8 slide. Seems to be a little better, will find out for sure tomorrow on the trails!

Looks great man. You mentioned Pro Action. Where are they located? For some reason I want.to say they were with MotoJockey on 13, but I have been out of the scene for a while.

The fact that its a KTM would be enough to keep me off it.

That new YZ looks beautiful. Where's my special sock?

On proactions web page they have locations, he is in Bear. I meet him at Blue Diamond and he picked it up there and brought it back the following week so I can test ride it and make adjustments. Great guy, not associated with MotoJockey. Hit me up if you ever want to ride. I am just getting back into it as well.

OK, I think he did some carb work on my kfx400 a few years ago. At that time I think his shop was connected to Moto Jockey. Heard there was a lot of drama with Moto jockey lately or a little in the past. I have been going to Cycle pro, almost across from BD. Anyway, I have an yz now and the previous owner was like 240 so want to have it adjusted for me. I would love to ride. I have never ridden a mx track but I AM DYING TO. Well, not true, I used to ride quads on tracks, but not a bike. Presently only place I ride is a buddies property in Oxford. 33 acres of trails, an open field, and a dirt circle track. Fun, but becoming slightly boring. Been on some type of motorcycle since I was 5 so I should be able to pick it up easily...getting older so dont want to wait much longer to give it a try haha.

def get some good hand protection. I ride woods with my 09 and all I did besides the pipe was put a 13 tooth front sprocket and a flywheel weight. no more stalling problems. I can motor through the woods and no loss of torque what so ever.

I would love to but just finished stripping my bike down to the frame. I blew the motor so decided to do a full restore/rebuild. Just got the last of the new parts in today. Should be ready to rip in a couple of weeks.
