just bought 2003 yz450f

I just bought a 2003 yz450f and there are acouple things missing on the bike such as the kill switch and a few all odds an ends. There is also a connection on the carburetor that is disconnected, im not sure what exactly it is used for. Any help or just advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

If the item that is disconnected is this

....that's the TPS, which is usually out of adjustment or defective, and the simple way to fix it is to dissconnect it.

Sorry about not posting a picture and it was the tps i just left it alone. The problem i have now is the new kill switch i put on the bike doesnt seem to be working at all. All i did was plug the new one into the original wiring harness.
