BTW, I strap my bike to the stand as well! :bonk:

I'm just a sissy. I scared the crap outta myself tonight dealing with the fork seals. I popped off the comp adjuster cap thinking I'd find the spring & rod attached to it like my old '02 250sx. Nope, a black bladder instead. After a panic call to Garret aka GMOSS he calmed me down a bit and was like, "you got this man. Its easy"!..... Hmmm OK! "Call me if you need my help". So I found a vid on youtube from RMATV showing the type of fork I have and follwed along. 1st side.. about 2hrs. 2nd, about 15 min. EASY PEASY! My bike is finally ready to ride since I first bought it. Lets hope the shake down run is a good 'un!

Changes:
New lower fork guards
New seals and fork oil
New tires
Wheels trued (this was a real PITA!)
Full nut & bolt check
Used subframe.. garabage.. I am NOT happy about this junk I bought off KTMTalk.. I should of just bought a new one.
New FMF fatty moto
New Leo Vince X3
New slip joint for the exhaust (from a Banshee.. hey atleast the yamaha dealer tried to help.. and it works!)
New Pillow Top grips
All new fluids... brake, clutch coolant everything
New air filter
New back half of the air box (mine was cracked)
New KTM speed bleeders
ProTaper handle bar pad (from old bike)
Moose BB's (old bike)
Sunline Ti shift lever
Added a fuel filter to the line

Next:
New Radiators & guards
All new plastics and graphics
New KTM subframe
Ankle saver pegs (I case often.. and aint afraid to admit it!)
Flexx bars
Levers.. .mine wobble a bit in the perch
Power now... I wish the one from my old bike fit.. I just havent tried it. best $$ I ever spent!
New seat.. mine was pulled so tight it actually bend the back up an inch! (see pics)
New rims & MX31 tires.. I hate black wheels

I think thats about it. :smirk:

Don't PC your forks! I don't know that they will fit in the clamps at that point. maybe anodize... IDK though, I like that color.

I am going to peel off the stock 125 stuff and getting new # plate graphics to match the graphics I bought.

I think it is going to turn out a lot better than I thought....

Imagine...

white shrouds, white # plate and black fork guards with black, white, and gray graphics...

Like this?

I have white front fender, white shrouds, black rear fender, black airbox covers.

This is with the stock shrouds... I did not really like it though.

This is with the white shrouds and new graphics (that I added a few stickers to). Yes, I know that it does not have forks and shocks on it...I also am aware the the wheels are missing. I have a pair of Warp 9 orange rims w/spokes. I am debating whether to mount them up on my stock hubs or to buy a set of orange warp 9 hubs. If I buy new ones I can sell my stock ones as a complete working pair. I am just a little intimidated by the thought of lacing up a set of wheels.

I didnt do anyting with it, I removed it (without taking it apart) to get to the spring and then put it all back together.
