husqvarna sm510r starting issues

hi. having issues with starting. everytime i try to start it it will just backfire. takes about 20 attempts to start then it will run fine. anybody shed any light on this? thanks

Check your rubber intake manifold boot, you could have a real big intake air leak

hi ,
an inlet leak is a good possibility - easy to test,

probably worth checking your valve clearances too,

what year SMR..??,

+1 on the Throttle body boot worm clamp. I had a similar issue after a viscious backfire. Also, could your TPS setting be way off?
