So I have a pretty interesting sort of Frankenbike. Im running a 98 cylinder with the 99+ exhaust fitting on it (cylinder numbers read 98 but they changed the exhaust in 99) on an 01 with an 01 wiseco piston. I recently found a good deal on a shorty silencer and PC Platinum pipe on ebay and couldnt help but to pick it up. The pipe has a dent in it that I probably would have put there anyways and it was $60 shipped!

When I put it all together I noticed it had a bog when I gave it a quick throttle snap when it was cold. this never happened with the stocker pipe. and then when riding the pipe killed all my power.. like everywhere. couldnt climb hills without clutching the hell out of it in 2nd gear, and id have to keep it pinned and clutch it coming out of corners on the track where I didnt with the stocker.

So I guess my question is which way should I go with jetting? the spark plug is black and completely dry, and there is no spooge what so ever. I know pc pipes call for jetting changes but the telltale signs aren't there on which way to go. Their website says the pipe will make the bike run rich but mine made it run leaner(was a little rich with the stocker) I have a 25 pilot jet and a 440 main in there now. what do you guys think I should try because I dont even know where to start! any help is appreciated thanks!!!!
