Any body with thoughts on were to set the 2012 steering damper clicks from full in? Also do you tighten the steering triple clamp nut more than normal so as to help dampen the steering? I feel if you adjust the clickers to 6 or less or tighten the nut much you get major arm fatigue. MX outdoor riders only, thanks
11'/12' steering damper settings etc.

The steering damper is very poor in stock form. We have an 09 and a 12 that I just picked up Saturday, The 09 damper I re-valved and used a heavier oil which works tremendously better than stock form. My kid said that the 12 doesn't even feel like it has a damper on there, They will never compare to an Ohlins or Scott damper, The stock damper was primarily installed and designed with straight high speed stability in mind due to the lower offset of the front end making it corner better. Unfortunately, the high speed stability suffers. The do help, but they don't actually work until the steering is turned 5 degrees. You still have 10 degrees of free play right in the middle.
