Looking for some opinion from my fellow ttrs. May have chance to trade my wr250 for same year fe450 Husaberg. Not sure I want to go 4t again, just kinda looking for something different again. I think the Husaberg owner is in the same boat. I posted this on the Berg forum too. Thanks for all opinions!

Don't know - though they seemed to perform well I've read Hbg did not come into maturity reliability-wise until recently. Eg: guy I knew had an early 2000 FEe and I never got to see it as it was mostly not running due to obscure problems - can't remember what they were but he could not get rid of it soon enough. My current riding buddy has a 2010 390 and other than the fuel pump its a great bike.

That is kind of what I have been reading, 04 and earlier. I know my wr dead nuts reliable. I hate the "get something different" bug that bites every now and then.

I had 2 friends with major expensive failures, they were pre 2006 models.

Hi ,
I think the 'berg may be a lot more trouble..,
parts will probably be harder than with the Husky,
neighbour bought a 2001 as a motard - it was in the dealer more than his garage,
How well -used is it..??, that may point to it's reliabilty!!
2004... was that made after the KTM tie-in ?
