Charles; I used to ride Pipestone some 30 + years ago and have a few times since moving to the West side of the Mountains, just not familiar with the "four corners" description. Last time I rode there it seemed like a lot was lost to development - in years past there wasn't one house out there that was lived in. Sigh!

What I am talking about is the fact that we used to start out a the Pipestone interchange where the State shop is and ride all day without fences or houses.

Where is Pipestone?  Anyone got a link they can post?  My son and I try to find a sew place to ride every year for a good long weekend.

Thanks in advance,

Booger

The Pipestone/Delmo Lake area is east of Butte and west of Whitehall between I-90 exits 233 & 241 with most trails on the north side of the interstate.  Four Corners is a popular staging area.  Trails below Four Corners are often clear of snow by now, with trails closer to the continental divide clearing later.  It is a fantastic riding area with many miles of trails.  Surfaces are generally decomposed granite.
