im about to buy one. got it really cheap. came with a trailer also. the bike hadnt been used in over a year. im going to replace a few things like the air filter, spark plug and oil. anything else i should be replacing. i want the bike running at tip top condition.

what mix do people use? on my old yz125 i used 32:1

also. do plastics from newer years work? i want to get a nice colour combo for this bike. new plastics and graphics are needed. i will definetly replace the red seat.

check the compression, and plastics will fit up to 2007, 2010 and up can fit but have to be modified in places.

What's wrong with the 00-01 plastics. I like them a lot. Just find a nice graphics kit and keep the 00-01 plastics. I know Two Two motorsports makes a pretty nice looking graphics kit that looks pretty sharp. I am sure there are others. For that matter just put stock graphics on there. So far, I haven't seen a graphics kit (with the exception of the 95 purple what was honda thinking?) that didn't look better then any aftermarket graphics.

theres nothing wrong with the plastics. but the 07 bikes look so much nicer. i probably will end up getting some nice graphics.

i searched and found nothing..still having trouble using this new site.

would a lighted flywheel make much difference to the bikes power?
