A friend needs a crankshaft for his klx250 , we found one form a klx300 but some people tell us that it won't fit on a klx250 , as far as i know they are the same .
Can anyone confirm it ?

The 2003 klx 250 and klx 300 have the same stroke length, 61.2 mm , but different bore sizes Bore = 72mm on 250 and 78 mm on 300. I dont know if some other years were different. I know the electric start model cranks are different.

I remember they have the same length and they only have different bore , although i have to double check if the crank from a 300 will fit on his 250...

I upgraded my '94 KLX250 with KLX300 cases, jug and piston. Works great.

I believe they all have the same crank and rod, except for the bikes with E-start.
