I was at Costco today.   They had TWO different kayaks on sale.  Each was like $360.  I almost bought one.

Not!

I cant believe I ever got one myself.  Now I have two.

It's a shame when I return to the cabin from a early morning singletrack run through the forest and drag the yak down to the lake to rip some lip.  I dont know any guy that would ever want to do that.

BTW, dont waste your money or time on a  $360 kayak. Now the $2K Malibu at Costco is a pretty good deal. Expensive, but no more than a used 300 :-) They dont break either.

Your right it is lame. I should just sit on the deck and stare at the lake after a singletrack run through the forest instead of being on the water.

Hey BigBob, I'm probably going to end up missing this one.  They've rescheduled the Crosscut Family Enduro and Sawmill Enduro for that weekend.

Bob,
It's about time you fess up and tell all these fine folks that you AIN'T gonna ride anytime soon, and this thread was started as some sorta warped, bored amusement on your part.
If your REALLY coming on up here, I have the perfect bike you can borrow...
Tirebiter setup FE450- Smooth as silk.

TB  don't &%$#@! around.

This thread was started with every bit of ole time Skipper earnest and true belief that If we build it they will come!. There is no meaness or goofballness here.  The damn TT CA forum is all SoCAl threads  now.  NORCAL TT riders need to Make a stand and represent.  GO TO MOONROCKS for WORLD EXPO ride #3  on April 21/22   or team up and change the date.

You will have saved the NoRCAL TT hertitage. And when the Ride reports come back all positive then we can be satisfied.

I will be there in spirit. Sing my song to the wild donkeys and go RIDE.

Skipper, I rode with Pablo Veglia last weekend.  He owns Del Amo Motosports in Redondo Beach.  He also has a dealership in Long Beach.  If your ever in the area, stop by and see Pablo, nothing to fear, he does not sell bergs, kayaks or surf boards.  He does sell Motorcycles and once you ride a real bike you would find a way to hit the trails.  No wife, job, ocean...kills the desire to ride more than a berg...your living proof, rode one, never to ride again...

Go Ride!
