That's gonna look really good....cant wait to see the finished product.
I really like the way the rear fender and sidepanels flow together on the newer bikes.

For me, sometimes "new" doesn't always look better. For example, I think the 02-07 CR250 plastics look better than the new 450 stuff ... but that is one man's opinion, so take it for what it is worth.

there not much work thats gone into it just get the plastic's trim the backs drill holes on the rad shrouds where they line up with tank holes
rear fender make groves/holes so it slides on to to the end of sub-frame should poke through underneath then just cable tie a nut at the end stops it from moving and the lower rear/side is just bolted through the actual sub frame i hope this helps a bit

or if you tell me exactly what you need to know to help you a long i will be more than happy to help you

Man I would love to do this to a late model CR! Any idea if its just as easy to fit on the 02-07 CR250's?

How did you get the airbox pieces to bolt up? Did you just cut and cover up the factory box?

I like the stock plastics but it's cool to update and try different plastics for different looks. Thanks for sharing.

Me too ... regardless of what year. Some years are ugly, some are nice, but they are what they are and should be left stock.
Nobody wants to see an ad on craigslist/ebay for an older bike that reads:

"1987 CR250. Someone tried to make it look newer so they put 90's plastics on it. Hodge podge express. Runs good. $500.)
Because "new" plastics are just going to get "old" some day REAL soon. Run what you've got, I say.
To me it is like seeing a 90's Nissan Sentra with $2K worth of chrome rims on it ... no offense to the guy on here who rolls dat hoopty. :)

the stock 00-01 plastic is hard to find, expensive and the graphics are overpriced for it
