I like my Ricochet It offers front and side protection. Also protect the front caliper steel brake line. Notice front caliper guard on the 2nd photo.

I have a Ricochet on mine. It kicks butt. Colorado Kid, what kind of protection do you have there on your radiators? I'm looking for something for myself. And I like your bike, looks good.

Colorado Kid ... where do you get that front caliper guard? Also, does that cooling fan help any? Why do you just have it on one side & not both?

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not getting e-mail notifications. The front caliper guard is four stroke works. They also make frame guards to protect the rear master cyclinder. The radiator guards came from a box of parts i purchased from a former klx rider. I dont know the brand. The radiator fan works great. I mounted it on the same radiator as the KLX 250. It is on the front side because the tank is in the way on the back side. The 250 temp sensor will fit the 300 radiator to cycle the fan. On at 210 off at 195. Great for those slow up hill mountain rides. Converted mine to 12 volt D/C power to run the fan and to charge a battery for the extra lighting.

Clarification. The caliper and frame guards I installed are from Works Connection. Sorry
