[size=3][font=Arial]I was talking to someone the other day about upgrading my 2 stroke Yz250 soon and that I was looking at something like a 07 or newer 2 stroke husky. I was told that the Husqvarna 2 stroke engine hasn't been changed since early 2000. [/font][/size][font=Arial][size=1][/size][/font]

think the 125/150 got a frame. 250/300 motor mainly ignition changes. The bottom ends on the 250/300 are a little heavy by new standard, But that's not necessarily a bad thing. It can more tractability and possibly durability. If your tall the chassis are good fit. Also easiest parts to obtain of all the huskys. Think they still have the old school zert fitting on the linkage too.

Someone told me the 250/300 is basically the same back to 96. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The husky motor was new in 1999. The previous run was from 1992-1998 and they were different motors.

i believe there are power valve upgrades along the way. and porting has changed over the years. and don't think the piston is exactly the same. but looking at a parts list would tell you much......
