2001 drz 250 not firing

My 250 drz has no spark. Is there any way to test this? Is this a common problem? Thanks..........weed

how old is the spark plug?

Try putting in a new battery. Not just charging your old one. Old ones sometimes will not hold enough charge to start the engine. Sometimes it is the simplist things that cause the problem
