i have a 2006 cummins 2500 quad cab 6 speed and i love it i have never had any trouble expect wen i first bought it was tht it had a bad clutch

all ram trucks 1500,2500,3500 are made in mexico but also only the 1500 is made in Mi, all chevy and ford trucks are built here,

So which is American made, the Saltillio built Dodge or the US made Tundra out of Texas and Indianna.

The dirty little secret is the domesticas refer to is as "North American Made" which includes Canada and even Mexico but doesnt mean its made in US.

I really dont care who disagrees with me but the dodge, ford and chevy are the american ones.  The yotas are not designed here i dont think and they will not be nearly ass good.  You even see a lawn and snow service using a foreign pickup, hahahah nooooo.  And what company employs more American jobs? id say the big 3 easily .  Me, i just dont like foreign cars...... sticking gas pedals sry had to say it lol, but that actually killed people..... did you know that

your the yota tech let us hear it, you should know alot about the yota trucks.  Seeing that you bought a ram must mean you didnt like theme.

well depends on what you consider built here, yes chevy has a truck plant in flint Mi and they have another truck plant in mexico.  Yeah i never see a lawn company use a toyota, im sorry but there a joke, lol i seen some guy towing a camper with a tundra and the thing was saggin a ton.  My friends tow a bigger camper with there f150 and it is not even near as bad, of course we were all ripping on it.... And all i ever see  the lawn and snow companies use are three quarter ton or one ton trucks to tow and plow allll the time and my bud owns his own and he uses a ram 2500 with a cummings.  You need a truck that can with stand towing all the time and also plowing to.  Come on you cant even argue that lawn companies and other companies that need trucks use American trucks usually ford, second most i see is chevy and third dodge.  But yes some of the ford and chevy trucks are built here.  Man i guess saying toyota trucks suck is not a good thing to say on here but cant hide the truth, the nissans suck to not only toyota.  They just dont know how to build trucks plain and simple. On top of that i think tundras look like shit, the chevy dodge and ford all look really nice!

More mis information. The US made Toyotas are in fact designed here by Americans, built here by Americans and having 80% US content, not north American, but US content.

There still is nothing wrong with Toyotas or accel pedals. Imcompetent driver, yes. Floor may jams in throttle, try moving the shift lever to "N"

Sagging is all about weight distribution/loading.  I can put a 15k skid loader on a deckover trailer behind my half ton, and it'll sit level.

Not every trailer has the same tongue weight, or even the same weight.  I have a 23' travel trailer that is half the weight of a TH of the same size.

The neighbor kid runs a lawn service with a Honda Civic and a trailer.

As for the plow remark, how many snow removal people use a Sonoma, Ranger, or F150?  Why not?  Because they're not purpose built for that task.

You're comparing apples to oranges.  Putting a half ton Toyota up against a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

How many deaths were linked to the sticky pedal?

Ford's underinflation procedure has been linked to over 250 deaths and over 3,000 injuries, leading to the shutdown of the St Paul Ford assembly plant for weeks so that there were enough tires on hand to replace those damaged due to underinflation.

Ford built a vehicle that had poor ride characteristics, so instead of replacing springs and shocks with something more palatable, their solution was to lower tire pressure to 26 PSI, and if the customer continued to complain, 23 PSI.  I still have the TSB that describes this solution for "Harsh Ride Complaints".

This resulted in ply seperation, heat buildup, and premature tire failure.

Conclusion: Ford tried to blame it on Firestone, stating Firestone didn't make a tire that was durable enough to support a 4k lb vehicle at 75 mph with only 23 psi in it.  :bonk:

Yeah! diesel gets more MPG, but consider it costs .60 - .75 cents a gallon more, it defeats the purpose. I'll take my 390 HP 5.7 L stone stock 3/4 Ton Hemi over any Eco-Boost!!!any day... Drive one if you don't believe me.

I bet an eco-boost would run right with your truck.....i think you're forgetting they make diesel-like power. Low in the RPM's and 420 lb-ft of torque. Plus, a Hemi in a 3/4 ton is going to have to pull a lot more weight.

well you sound like you are about as smart as a rock..

the new trucks from all of the big motor companies are not built like they used to be.

the best cummins years were up until the early 2000s.. I wouldnt touch a new one with a stick.

and full size truck + gas does not make sense to me. good diesel motors will always last longer. why do you not see gas kenworths everywhere?

and car payments are a joke. pay cash, buy what you can afford

In many cases, the gas motors in PU trucks outlast the body, running gear, chassis and driveline nowadays.

Used to be, 100k and a gas engine was on it's last legs.  Now it's just getting broke in.  Very common to see 250k on a gasser, and it's in great shape compression and power wise, with little to no oil consumption.
