We didn't get this model here in the UK. We had to make do with the 250 model !
It probably would have sold well, complementing the succesful marketing of the smaller model.
Yamaha UK never learn !

It's sort of funny that you guys wish that you had the 350 model over there. Back in the 80s in the US, everybody in our area wanted the 250. A few people actually managed to get them and thought that they were a much better machine to compete on than the 350 that was offered for sale here.

I'm thinking that with a larger fuel tank and taller seat the 350 would make a very nimble and lightweight trail bike.

An older version of the new Ossa Explorer !

The 250 was a much better bike. The 350 was a trench digger, but Yamaha knew that Americans want bigger motors.
