Crazy day, crazy old man and his F150!

So you ask, how was my day? I got some home work done & decided to go riding. I did'nt head to my private track since a friend wanted to do some hunting there today (2100 acres). While I was riding some old guy (born 1935) in an old 80's F150 was "watching" me ride near my house. I was making laps in a nearby sand dune by the pond (50 yards off the side of the road). This guy pulls his truck up on the dune for what I THOUGHT was some hooning... nope he cut across the front of my bike. I laid it over and slid UNDER his truck a few inches. I got up dusted myself off.. cussed the guy out and told him to stay over here and I'd go to the other end. I didnt let him have a chance to say anything before I went on my way. He apparently hadnt had enough and when I went to leave he tried to hit me HEAD ON! I put a serious evasive maneuver and got out of the way. This left a 30ft skid on the asphalt were I went ON ROAD to avoid him. Now I had enough. I ditched my bike and went to the guy's truck and went OFF! He said I shouldnt be riding "on the road" and wanted me to leave. In retrospect, he kept repeating himself over and over... odd huh? He looked CRAZY!!!!! I told him to f*** off and went to get my bike, he then decided to try and RUN ME OVER!!!!!!!!! I got my left leg caught between his front tire and fender. If it werent for my MX boots & knee braces, he would have broken my leg! Aggravated Assault with a motor vehicle charges were filed. 3rd degree felony. It carries a 5yr prison sentence. WTH is wrong with people these days? I think I may have broken something in my hand when I puched his door and my knee hurts like hell now that the adrenaline has worn off. Awesome.........

No luck finding his mug shot but, I did find this!

Haha! What the heck!? And to think I was a little bummed that I (very nicely) got told not to ride in a certain spot behind my house, but that the rest of the land was alright. Lol, thats just ridiculous man

He lives on Honeysuckle Dr in Panama City, Fl 32404 is all the info I have on his addy but I am sure I could ride over there and find his truck.

Speaking of trucks, the sheriff called a few min ago. They went to arrest him last night. His truck was pulled behind their house and when he came to the door his face was covered with tissue paper and he had given himself a "haircut". So he knew what was coming. The SGT confirmed he was arrested with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle (3rd deg felony).

He said "I was only trying to get his attention" and nothing else to the officers.

Kinda creeping me out.

Funny that this happened in Florida. Adam Corolla used to play a game on his radio show called Germany or Florida because the craziest news stories seem to come from those two places. They would read the story and people would have to guess where it happened. Glad you're alright,but this is the type of crazy I have learned to expect from Florida. Lol

Bonestock, the old man didn't try to kill you because of where you were riding, he tried to kill you because you were on a KTM. He probably saw you and was like " there's one of THOSE riders"!! Don't worry, you're not alone, I'm "one of those riders" as well and people will hate you just because your on an orange bike! :smirk:
