I just started riding again and looking for a person or two to go riding with and show me around some track in the area

If you are interested in riding at the SHNF, or at Skull Creek (private trails, need a member to get you in...I'm a memeber) let me know. I don't do MX though.

If you haven't checked it out, you might want to look over on http://www.houstonmotocross.com . I've been out for a while but plan to get back into some MX riding. Unfortunately, my work travel doesn't allow me to get out very often. Doubt I could keep up with a young guy like you, but I'll post up when I plan to go out and your always welcome to come along.

well i am looking for some MX riding and XC riding too. where are those two places at that you are talking about. and yes i have checked out that website and there are some track i would like to go to but i just think it would be boring for me to go by my self and ride so that why i seen if couple of people or so dont mind me riding with them

3 palms is (i think) voted the best mx track in /around houston.  Been there two or three times now, i love it ($25 per day).  SHNF - Sam Houston National Forest = has miles and miles of open trails for dirtbikes to cruise around on, you just need a state park sticker (from almost any atv dealer) and a spark arrestor (i'm still trying to figure this one out).  anyway, been to the forest once, it was really fun too.  Those are the only places i've been but i'm interested in riding buddies also, my gf and I both have kx250f's and were just learning to have fun with them.  Hit me up.

Hey, I am always looking for someone to ride with.  Only been riding about a year.  Tracks only, no trail riding.  We ride 3 Palms and Rio Bravo.  Been riding a CR125 for the past year and just bought a KX450F.  Spent all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3 Palms trying it out.

My son rides a KX65 so if it is on the weekends he is usually with me, but i ride quite a bit during the week by myself too.

3 Palms is alway well groomed and ready to ride after rain before anything else but gets crowded on the weekends.

Rio is not groomed nearly as well (i think mostly due to the soil type) but is actually my favorite place to ride.  Weekends are never too busy and Wednesdays you have the place to yourself till later in the afternoon when people start showing up.  Also after the rain, it can take forever to dry out.

I used to be a member of TRH and raced mainly enduros. I quit racing once I moved to San Marcos for school. Now that I'm back I don't have anyone to ride with. I live right in between SHNF and 3 Palms, but I try to make it out to Rio Bravo a good amt as well. I'm thinking about going out on Sunday to either the forest or 3P. If anyone is up for riding on Sunday give me a shout.

Homeskillet and Jmarsh39 ride the SHNF often.
