New leavers are in ~ waiting on new 132 link chain / front sprocket and swing arm chain slides and guides. Drumming fingers on desk waiting for USPS...
Still have to weld up Rear brake MC and pedal assy at frame / foot peg.
Also need to cut / move / weld chain roller to get shock resevior clearance.

I got the seat recovered with a bling carbon fiber like material. This material is thicker then stock ~ Honda Recon ATV seat beside it for comparison.

Think I have resolved the rear brake Master cylinder mounting delima. The big delima is that the exhaust mount is directly in the way of most any bracket you try to create. First I thought of chopping it off and making a new bracket assembly to incorperate both the exhaust and the new rear brake master cylinder. Then I came up with this...

The throw of the pedal on the master cylinder piston matches that of the KX pedal (Very important for good brake feel. The top hole of the brake MC is drilled out for a longer exhaust mounting bolt with a spacer between the MC and frame exhaust mount tab. The lower bracket frame to MC is part of the original KX rear brake MC frame mount. Still needs to be cleaned and painted ~ weld was still glowing in last pic.
Next i need to mount up the resevoir.

that seat looks redonkuless! and that break mount looks nice as well, well im sure it will look a lot nicer with paint, but looking sweet. cant wait to see more.

Nice solution, one question, is the top of the master cylinder tied to the frame too? I can't tell. If it's not, your bottom bolt will get loose over time and eventually fall out.
Also, I hate it when that happens, you're welding and the wire is a little too cold or the feed rate is a little too fast on your first try, but you don't want to grind it off to make it look good, but it gives you the opportunity to fix it for the second weld (the pedal vs the frame mount).
Gotta appreciate good upholstery work. My great uncle worked on the seats in NYC transit, unfortunately, I didn't have the good sense to ask him for any tips or tricks before he died.

Thanks! Yes, Smac - top bolt is tied to exhaust mounting tab and thru to the exhaust pipe (pic #1). Not the strongest tab but atleast the force is being transmitted Vertically towards the frame tube. The KX bottom tab is BEEFY. Looking back at my hand position for the MC bracket weld... I wish I would have welded it from the front wheel side as then my arc on the MC bracket would have matched the frame down tube arc.
My big concerns now are:
1. Heat transfer to the MC. I don't think this is an issue as the tab for the pipe is a stand off with sufficient air gap.
2. Pedal stop - otherwise the riders body weight coming down off of a jump may get transfered to the MC.
3. Line routing will be tricky but that will be tricky with any KX mounting set up.
My upholstry guy Freddy @ Stingrays Upholstry gets $75 for the cover installed which I thought was very reasonable for custom work.
My big concerns now are:
