i think RV would have won had Millsaps not crashed in front of him. having said that, RV's fastest lap was only .03 seconds faster than RD's fastest lap of the race. RD was on pace and didn't have to ride all 20 at 100%. after he gapped Weimer by a good amount, he just needed to ride the remaining laps smart.
might have been a good battle if RV wasn't in the wrong place at the wrong time. both of them have to be happy tonight!

Yeah right, Decoster will dig up the iron ore himself and build a podium capable bike from absolute scratch if he has to. But wait! Dungey better be able to get himself mentally prepared without Decoster a few years from now, or else.......

I'll admit he pulled out a win faster than I expected. I am happy to see it. As a bonus, it keeps the points tight. Very cool that Weimer was up there too.
I'm not gonna "what if" this one. 'poto didn't win it, he pulled out an impressive 3rd. But, he also made a mistake in the heat, didn't recover well from that, and had a bad gate pick that put him back in the pack where something bad can happen, and it did. That's racing.

By the way RD was riding in the heats, I told my wife there was no way he was gonna win tonight. He looked off the pace for sure. Thats the only time in 8yrs that I was actually happy when my wife said "you're wrong". LOL

Keep your pants on. It was bound to happen and Villopoto had an off night. Did he win on a 350? Or did KTM decide to junk yet another idea? Oh and was it the bike or the rider? Seems to me everyone has been saying for years for KTM to get a better lead guy and presto they do. Seems like most people told KTM to junk the 350 and quit trying to reinvent the wheel. They did and went back to the 450.
I am not too sure why all the giddy posts, I mean Chad Reed won with a budget that was a darn sight smaller than KTMs. The posts say a whole lot of "in-your-face-haters", when in reality they are demonstrating a whole lot of relief. The crow KTM groupies ate over the 350 debacle and the utter waste of money and resources being channeled by the Austrian outfit, yet they couldn't manage even a fluke win...you know they happen all the time...when the leaders have a bad day.
Glad to see KTM finally break in with a win, I was beginning to worry if they failed to be competitive again this year they would pull-out all together.
