Honda: Top step of both podiums

Although I have to give Kudos to KTM wardrobe "guys", that color scheme of Dungey's is all the rage in New Delhi, this year. :smirk:

Yeap he rode smart and got the job done for points leader. And for all of the post that I've read on these forums from the guys belittling Dungey under Stewarts "superior" riding skills, well, on this night Stewart had nothing for Dungey and the #5 past him and rode on!

I like Dungey a lot, but he is going to have to step it up to win the championship.  That he couldn't catch and challenge Reed wasn't good.  But he could be riding smart while he continues to sort out the KTM.  Clearly, if RV has the speed.   A good start and no problems in the pack, he is gone.

Forks and Shocks
Is it a disadvantage for KTM to run White Power forks and shocks?  They are the lone wolf.  All of the other factories run KYB or Showa.  There are lots of companies making Supercross setups for the Japanese suspensions.  I wonder if KTM ever tests with Showa units on a new KTM.

I think a lot of guys could turn remarkable lap times like Stewy sometimes does, but they know the point of falling down, so James... go ahead, you'll fall over soon enough.

Not being able to catch Chad Reed, really makes one wonder about Dungey's attitude. Reed is on the down-side of his racing career, (despite what he claims), and yet just seems to have gotten inside Dungey's head. JLaw must have had a point.

Dungey has the series point lead. JLaw is a trivia item.

Dungey was right on Reed's pace until someone (can't remember who) fell over in front of him, putting Ryan 4 secs back, where he pretty much remained.  Reed and Ryan D were pretty much on the same pace.  Good job Reed!

Yes it does. He's proving there's more than one way to win a title, which is what he's paid by KTM for. He could be aggresive and crash a lot like some contenders or get on the rear wheel and pressure them until they fall over as JS7 did last night. Only RV has shown he can beat him in the long term (so far) and as of now Dungey's the only one to end up on the box every race. Since Jloser flapped his gums, RD5 has a SX and MX title and is leading the series today. You just aren't giving Reed enough credit for an awesome effort.

Chill dude...It was just an innocuous observation. The problem with you twitter junkies; you become the defender of some guy who you think is tweeting just to you.

I'm sure Dungey has a think enough skin, even if you don't. :smirk:

Twitter? You are assuming! That's the second time you've pulled that lame take today. From your post it seemed you had no idea what you were talking about, the same as when you assumed that folks on here hadn't seen the race. Lot's of us have - have you?

You make a dumb statement then get out of sorts when you dislike the response.

good job Dungey, for hanging back and waiting to see if 22 and 7 would take each other out. KTM is in the lead.

I would not want to dump 2nd place, then have to ride back to the pits and explain to Roger DeCoster why I pushed it too hard and blew 2nd place.   I believe DeCoster's strategy is to finish well and now try to win every race.   Win the title.

Catching Reed is all about putting it in Reed's mind that he can catch him and pass him.   Something I don't think RD did all night.

It was interesting watching a bit of practice on the internet.  RD was cruising along, hitting triples with the ease of riding down the pit lane.  :smirk:

He was within striking distance until Bubba decided he needed another soil sample for his collection

As for JLaw....He had a point poking him from behind and he hasn't been the same since

Yes, Reed is older. Yes he is likely getting near retirement. Now, how many people can consistently beat Reed?

It's a long season... Reeds not consistent anymore , Stewart guaranteed to throw it away (that guy can't even take it easy without going down anymore)and the way Villopoto is riding, (like a man possessed)  the edge and could break himself at any race.

Dungey just needs to ride smart, like he's doing, stay on the box, stay healthy, and then if need be pick it up in the last few races for the overall.

Dungey drives me crazy.... he looks like he's going half as fast as the other riders but, he puts out just as fast lap times. :bonk:

What can you say about Villopoto's riding, he's amazingly fast these days..... he's reached RC SPEED! :smirk:

I'm actually starting to feel sorry fro Stewart. He really looks like he's slowed down and trying to finish a whole race on two wheels and it's just not happening.

When I looked for an update on Canard's condition this morning there was nothing on TT. A quick search brought me to where Aaron Canard had started a thread elsewhere to update on his condition. There were also facebook updates with the same info that quoted tweets supplied by the Morais and Canard families via twitter. It was a way to keep concerned fans informed.

Stop worrying how the info gets to you as long as it's correct. You don't have to be on twitter to hear what's being said there.

And, Aaron Canard is not who you're thinking of.
