Q: How do you increase the amount of visible data you can put on a single page.

Most forums allow the user to pick how many posts/replies can be seen on a given list. This way you arn't clicking "next page" every second to read through a thread that might be 50 posts long. Instead, you can change the preferences to allow 20 or so posts per page which allows you to skim through stuff much quicker. Not only saving time, but aggravation of having to load a new page every 10 seconds.

This is a pretty large issue when it comes to diagnosing threads, where you've gotta get data from post 1 OP and post 20 in order to come to a conclusion and an answer.

I noticed too and took a quick rip through the settings and didn't see an option for posts per page like the old site.

Number of topics & posts per page is an admin only setting out of the box. We've not gotten to that part just yet. It's set at the default values. We need to get through this week of tweaks & bug fixes, then we'll go on to things aren't really broken, but there may be improvements to be had. Be sure to put this request in the bug forum as a "suggestion". We'll be looking there reguarly as we create our to-do lists.
