Nice job on the site upgrade :smirk:  Yes it will take a little time to figure out how/where everthing is but that is a small price to pay for a better, more functional site, geez, lighten up and give it a little time.

Now my question, how do you embed a video in the post so that it shows up as a video box with a play button in the middle??

I want to embed a u-tube video and everytime I grab the embed code and past it into the post I get nothing but a line of code.

See there's a function we didn't have before the upgrade :bonk:

Thanks!

To inbed a youtube video (or most of the top video hosting services), just copy/paste the link in your editor box. The video will self inbed.

Quick question; there used to be a green dot next to a persons name/avatar which indicated that they were "on-line". Is this function gone now or is there a way to tell if someone is on or not?? Thanks in advance. N-edge

:bonk: And who are you? You work for TT? Your bashing something that is in the begining stages of a major improvement from the last incarnation. Wait for all the bug's to be worked out and all the servers to be online in full power and then bring your complaints to the table. Till then I think you should be a little more understanding and patient. If not, don't let the door hit you where the good lord split ya'.

First and formost I don't WORK for TT.. It was a figure of speach. Lets be honest here.. The FORUM and it's COMMUNITY MEMEBERS or the ones who share there knoledge is the reason why TT is able to exist and make money. Its the people like ME and others who answer peoples questions that grows the user data base that  generates revenue when people come on to the site and click on ads. I can only remember a hand full of times that I have used TT to get an answer I seak to a problem. Most of the time I find the answer to my problem on my own accord either through inginuity or using the service manual for my bike. I do not use the forum as a where to ride or even for a classified or a social network. So my use of this forum gives me no monitary gain. It's only function for me is a portal to help people. I'm not trying to BASH nothing. I am only stating what I like and if It is going to cause me more of a PITA to help people then I will pull the plug and stop.. As I said before I am not an easy person to get along with because I don't blow sunshine up anyones rear to make them feel better. I only say straight up what I am thinking and thats it.. I don't intentialy do it to make anyone mad I just have been lied to so many times in my life that I would rather upset someone for being honest then let someone down because I didn't want to hurt someones feelings. Unlike others I also will admit when I am wrong either when someone proves me wrong or I just come to realize my self that I was an idiot before I thought about it.. So Go a head fire back flame-E-O Hotman!

Marc, don't bother. He does this every so often and threatens to leave. Some people just don't know the difference between making suggestions and barking. When people bark at me, I don't forget and they should expect to talk to the hand. Life's too short to allow yourself to be ruled by haters that think the louder they yell, the better they'll be heard.

We're pleased with the upgrade so far, the feedback is about what we expected and we're not sitting in the safe place of being static that others find comforting. Pushing means you'll make some uncomfortable and even mad. This goes with the territory and we expected of a few tirades. We've given them all coupons to replace their kittens we've killed, so all is well. :smirk:

Bryan, I respect you and DK on this board more then anyone else.
I distinctly remember you telling me to take a break from the forum your self. I did and still am.. I post maybe 1/8th as much as I used to. And it will most likly be even less untill the forum is "TWEEKED" to work better for me or reverted back to teh old forum. I don't hate I just express what I'm thinking.. I don't think I bark.. I think I just mischeviosly set up people at times to debate with me.. Comeone It's fun at times just to get a rise out of people in a way that doesn't involve name calling ect to me that takes creative thinking and in the end doesn't hurt anyones feelings it just leaves them irritated because I'm an ass....

Bryan, I have looked all over and I cant seem to find how to make the last post show up first when opening a thread. I am sure I am looking past it over and over but I have been trying to figure it out for a couple of days now. Other than that I do not mind the new TT. It is a little different but as I use it I am liking it more and more. I say kudos to you guys.

Bryan, unlike the last time you guys upgraded then did a rollback, I really like the new site! Thanks for all your hard work...The only issue I've had is similar to "weekend rider" above, when using the mobile site there doesn't seem to be a "last page" option?

Am I missing an easy way to navigate to sub forums? Getting to the KTM 2 stroke forum or any of the regional forums now seems to take an extra click.

Follow them Threads or whole forums/subforums and with 2 clicks (name at top of page the content I follow and you can go straight to them.

Click on the black circle w/ the arrow in it and you can preview the first and last post = cats ass!   If you dont want to go in just scroll down and keep searching!

Takes an extra step, and (not the sites fault) when my connection is a little slow it takes a while to pop up.

For the same reason IE 9 doesn't support copy/paste. It's extemely tough to accomodate every function of every browser. The CK editor we're using is fairly standard, so at this point, no idea. Mostly becuase while it's on the list, there are other items of higher priority.
