Anyone notice the different lenght of header between the two bikes. This I would say is an easy way of swopping power characteristics of the bikes.

Ya the 250x header is longer by comparing the pictures on Honda's website. You can see the curved portion in the front sticks further forward. I guess this is a similar method of tuning like they do for other offroad bikes. The drz400 and ttr250 head pipes droop way down to make it even longer. The 250x probably didn't add that much length as one of these other headers, but it added a bit.

Maybe Im wrong but it seems that on my DRZ the longer header makes more bottom end than the shorter headers. Just an observation, not sure it it holds true with the 250x
