my new (used) yz426 is backfires a bit when i close the throttle off from wide open, what can i do to stop it? sorry 4 all this questions but i just moved from 2 storkes bike (ktm300exc 1998)....

This condition means you are a little lean on the pilot and/or fuel screw. A little bit of backfire is ok but, anything more than a little bit and you need to make an adjustment.
