We removed the snorkel on our 110L to see if it gave any extra power but couldn't tell because the bike now runs like crap.

Other than the snorkel the bike is stock. Anyone get their 110 to run right with just the snorkel removed? What is the jetting you used? We are in the midwest 0 - 1000ft.

If this turns into a fiasco I will just re-install the snorkel.

Thanks

I took the snorkel out of my 110 at first, then got a pod filter and an airbox removal bracket, and all I did was adjust the air screw on the right hand side of the carb (flat head screw, and if you were sitting on the bike) and it runs fine with stock jetting.

Ya .., I'd try that first ... And then if ya can't get it to idle perfectly ? .., then shim up the needle valve a little and see how that works ..

And if the stock exhaust is anything like the 2005's ???
Hog out the inside of the inlet hole on the header pipe , right where the bolts up to the head .....
The older models are choked up big time right there .. It can be difficult to do if you don't have a good die grinder and carbide bit on hand ..., or a really good drill bit !!
