Since the first summer it came out as a new model, I believe summer 2004. So almost 8 years, wow.

I dont know why the rst of this post isnt showing up but as fart as I know (since I do not have the 2R Tip) Its a larger exhaust opening, the screen is the spark arrestor just thinned out for more back flow. It is better than the stock tip but i'm not sure how it compares to the removed baffle, if I had to guess they would probably be very close.

A few months, i havent even been riding a year, but its a 2004, still runs strong, stock everything except exhaust, the valves went .004 PAST zero, so that was bad, but they werent damaged and its in spec now....
