bogging down husky boy

hi have just had my 7yr old son test ride an 04 husky boy 50.... when he bangs the throttle on after a slow corner the bike just bogs down and either dies or he has to slowly wind it on.. any ideas what would cause this?

If it has sat without running for a while it may only need the carb cleaned. If that doesn't fix it then I would start looking for an air leak.
