Eddie, how much are you going to sell the SM for? :bonk:

i will do some figures today to get you number for a completed bike.

Any chance we can get some quotes on just powder coating the frame? I wouldn't trust many people, but would be interested in shipping it to the Man to get it done when the time comes. Can't wait to see these bikes!

as soon as i see the bill for these i will let you know. the place that does it is just down the road from our current shop and very close to our new location.

What did you have in mind for the "sm" motor? Are going to do a "mild," or a "wild(60 hp)" motor for it? :bonk:

Now if we could only get a camera crew to film the build and put it on TV.  I'm betting it would be much more entertaining/informative than trying to watch those morons in New York.:bonk:

Cant wait to see how these turn out!!! I would have figured the SM got the kick engine while the E got the e-start but its easy to make the case either way. Kick only is surely for the light weight class crowd. Guess I just secretly hope you could build a dual sport/adventure bike outa the E :bonk:

49mm forks will be awesome! Which triples are planned? I bet you have some of the unobtanium ones with less steering head angle?

I know what he is talking about , because one of the reasons I know as much as I do is from blowing up a lot of stuff , the internet wasnt invented yet so I couldn't just go search how to do this or that , your Brother gives away a lot of very usefull info that saves a lot of guy's from having to learn the hard way :smirk::bonk:

kinda curious if the majority of the parts on both bikes are going to be new or used from left overs piled up over the years from building so many for customers.

combo of all majority being new. these will be basically new motorcycles when finished.

Are you gonna add all the bling? ie, custom paint, guards, anodised bits e.t.c or just build a new (ish) FAST standard looking pair of bikes and leave the customizing to the buyers?

depends on what stage a deal to purchase is made.

if they are completed without purchase they will be as i would have my bike.

im not really really bling guy. im about function. i like to make bikes that look like they came stock the way i mod them.

im sure some anodized bits will find there way on.

Awesome stuff!! This will definitely be a lot of fun to follow and will also be great to see your tastes & ideas on how a DRZ should be built from the ground up. :bonk:

As it was mentioned earlier, how fun it would be to watch the build off take place on TV!
