Hey KLX450 guys,I'm in here because my dad has an '08 KLX450R.Anyway,has anybody purchased the TM designs case saver for the '08 KLX?If so how is the fitment of this piece and the protection?Thanks for any and all advice.

Not listed on their site. At least I can't find it. We know the KX won't fit b/c of starter motor

Search the forums. There's an extensive post somewhere discussing this. TM stated they wanted to make a specific one for klx, needed a donor bike, etc. Not enough demand to justify it. I know for a fact the Devol case saver for the KX won't fit as I still have on in the packaging buried somewhere.

I think pro moto is the only one that makes a KLX 450 case saver. (I think)

If you're referring to this http://www.zeta-raci...over/index.html, it doesnt address the issue of a thrown chain, just keeps your foot from hitting the countershaft.
I find it interesting that they refer to it as a mud guard when the stock versions of these are removed b/c they collect mud.
