I don't think there are many who ride motorcycles off road or on the track without helmets, at least based on what I've seen. I imagine that's because falling down/crashing in the dirt is MUCH more commonplace than doing so on the street and people who ride in the dirt, especially of they're going to ride at all aggressively, have probably experienced more than a few get-offs already. Many, many people ride on the street for years without ever falling or crashing so it can begin to seem like less of a possibility that they'r going to crash the next time out. You never really know, though.

this is why I refuse to pay for an ama membership
This is why I DO support the AMA. I might not agree with people not wearing helmets, those same riders may not support me riding with a chest protector, but we all want to be able to ride how and where we want. The AMA seems to be the largest
advocate of exactly this.

Most of these are already covered whether it be by law or social stigma.
I can go either way on this topic depending on the day. In the end, I don't want to pay for someone else's bad decisions. And if you think you don't....you're fooling yourself.

Riding motorcycles on the street is dangerous. If you get involved in an accident on a bike, you're more likely to receive serious injuries. We all are paying for someone's decision to ride a streetbike, therefore all motorcycles should be banned from public roads.

Don't make it a law. Survival of the fittest should be more effective. eventually motorcycle riders will become a superior breed that either:
A- develop extremely strong heads
B- wears helmets
C- never chrashes
