Beginner's Loop update:
We're hoping to wrap-up most of the construction over the next couple of weeks. We have to finish the "special features" of the loop this weekend along with installing the new fencing. The bleachers and signage will be installed as soon as they arrive.
If you haven't been out there to see what we're doing, come out this weekend and say hello. One of us will give you the good ole' nickel tour!

it is on the other side of the existing track. and takes up a minimalistic amount of the camping area if i'm correct. i just have a general idea of how big it is though. and swamp ill direct my friend to the website.

It is in the area bounded on the North by the outgoing trail from the parking lot, the West by the existing back fence, the East by the existing fence behind the restrooms along with a new section of fence down to the pumphouse and the South by a new fence from the pumphouse straight back to the back fence. Clear as mud?
A couple camping spots close to the pumphouse were lost.

OK, one more post about the new Beginner's Loop. It's all done except for a couple of signs at the entrance area. Kids have been riding it and it's great to see the little guys having a blast on it. Bleachers were put up yesterday.
We're having a "grand opening' next Sunday the 15th. Bring the kids out and have some fun.
The FS is having the grooming with the SWECO machine started on Monday 4/9/12. So keep your ear on the Call-Before-You-Haul line to check where he's at.
And, the FS is close to getting a contractor started on another project which will repair some more bad spots on both the north and south loops.
